Eligible Countries

Bangor University Country Scholarships are open to students from the following countries (Nationality or Domicile):

Bangladesh

Cameroon

Egypt

Ghana

Nigeria

Pakistan

Turkey

Vietnam

Scholarship

Undergraduate Country Scholarships

£3000

All self-funding students from the above countries will receive a guaranteed scholarship of £3,000 per year

£3000

All self-funding students from the above countries will receive a guaranteed scholarship of £3,000 per year

Postgraduate Taught (Masters) Country Scholarships

£3000

All self-funding students from the above countries will receive a guaranteed scholarship of £3,000

£5000

All outstanding international students (e.g. 1st class, A grade) from the above countries will receive a scholarship of £5,000

All applicants will be automatically considered for these scholarships. NO additional scholarship application needed

Postgraduate Research (PHD) Country Scholarships:

£3000

All self-funding students from the above countries will receive a guaranteed scholarship of £3,000 per year

£4000

All outstanding international students (e.g. 1st class, A grade) will receive a scholarship of £4,000 per year

All applicants will be automatically considered for these scholarships. NO additional scholarship application needed

Please note (for all applicants)

These scholarships will be awarded instead of the ‘Bangor International Scholarship’ and NOT in addition to them.

The Country Scholarship applies to students beginning their degree course in the 2019/20 academic year

Fully Sponsored Students will not be entitled to the Country Scholarship

The Country Scholarship are offered in the form of a reduction in tuition fee.

The scholarship is not open to UK/EU applicants (unless they are paying international fees)
